  2. How to Update My Mac to OS X 10.11.6/10.11.4? After you are done with checking the compatibility of your Mac device, it's time to follow some pre rituals to prepare your device for Mac OS X El Capitan 10.11.

Os X El Capitan 10.11.6 Combo Update

Removed my extra ram and replaced it..

I know there is nothing wrong with my hardware as I did run the First Aid test and no errors were found - discs work perfectly. My thought is that it should be the OS that causes this as I had no errors beforehand.

I have read here that if I install the combo update, this might solve my issue. My question is: when will it be released?

I have made an appointment at my local Apple store but before then I want to try and solve this myself (I only have backups of my most important files, so if I can avoid erasing my disc, this would be awesome).

Thanks in advance.
